Fireplace maintenance Fireplace has not been used in 2 years. Over all in great shape. Could not run fireplace long. There is a birds nest in the vent termination with baby birds inside. Once birds fly away from nest customer will clear out termination and start up fireplace.

After further review of indoor coil and outdoor condenser, no leaks were found. Did check pressures and there is no signs of leaks.

They were impressed by our up-to-date information and decided to purchase a sensor technology monitor designed to measure various parameters in indoor environments, including levels of pollutants, particulate matter, humidity, temperature, and more.

While taking advantage of our Spring tune-up special, we discovered a broken condenser coil. Unfortunately, that usually means the AC needs to be replaced. We gave them our best estimate for new installation and one for repair. After getting another estimate from a competitor, they went with us because they felt they could trust our experience and professional service.

Their old HVAC system had needed more service calls over the last year or two, so this client wanted a few estimates on replacement. We looked over the home and gave them our best estimate for an energy-efficient unit that utilizes advanced variable-speed or inverter-driven compressor technology which will pay for itself in only a few years. The client was impressed by our great customer service.

This young couple had recently purchased a fixer-upper and wanted estimates on a modern HVAC installation. We sat down with them and explained what the estimate included and how they were even eligible for financing. They were really happy to have called the professionals at Evans.

Although their older AC system was working well, they were concerned about unexpected breakdowns. We inspected the unit and the ductwork and found everything in order. We changed the filters and checked the refrigerant levels. Their air conditioning should work well for a few more seasons.

This client contacted us because a neighbor had recommended us due to our fast and friendly service. They also wanted to take advantage of our Spring AC maintenance special. We did a thorough inspection, checking the entire system indoors and outdoors as well as the ductwork. The client was happy to have contacted Evans.

Ac repair , install new evaporator and add 67 oz of 410a , finished cleaning and maintenance. Ac is operating well .

Lennox furnace repair . Install new heat exchanger and level furnace . I did not install new thermostat. Tested old thermostat heating / cooling and humidifier and found no issues . Furnace is operating very well . Picked up space heaters. Call Tec support to register old thermostat to knew laptop . Password and account needed to be reset technical issues on Lennox side , phone tec needs to follow up with customer to have account reset properly.

Air conditioning maintenance for a residential client. Customer called us because their A/C was not working. After inspecting the system, found that the blower motor was grounded out. Replaced the motor and tested the system. The system is now repaired and cooling the home properly.

Air conditioning maintenance at a residential home. Performed a full system inspection to ensure all components were working properly. Everything checked out good, did notice that the contactor is pitted and worn down, and recommended replacing the contactor.

Fire place repair Fireplace repair - customer needed pilot lit, discussed options and customer wants a cleaning done, while cleaning the maintenance I discovered some of the burner orifice ports are starting to show signs that the burner may become an issue as well as the pilot assembly. Discussed options regarding putting any money into repairs on his unit verse replacing the unit. Looked at humidifier - customer says it hasn’t worked since we installed he furnace. Water is shooting at the eac….quoted replacement Customer will weigh out their options and let us know.

Fireplace maintenance Customer states fireplace is loud and the house gets very dirty fast. Inspected behind the fireplace and notice the chimney is falling apart and on top of the fireplace. Went outside and noticed the chimney is wavy and bricks are deteriorating. Did notice as well the boiler and the hot water tank are connected to the same chimney. Small bits of brick and dust are covering the top of the hot water tank in the basement as well. Chimney will need to be inspected & possibly repaired. Customer is currently following up with chimney repair company’s to get a better look. Did not perform maintenance for this reason. Made customer aware there will be only a service call charge for today’s visit.
