First service call with Evans, it was absolutely perfect!
I just switched my HVAC maintenance plan from Reliance to Evans. Account setup was fast and very friendly, kudos to the office team!!! I was able to set a next day maintenance appointment right after setting the account up!! Amazing!! Amazing!!! Compare that to booking months in advance with Reliance (and them not showing up for three appointments). The service technician, Wes, called and offered an earlier appointment!! Never had that happen before, ever. He showed up, was very professional yet very personable. I had tons of questions about other products not necessarily related to my A/C maintenance, he answered them all. What a fantastic experience for my first service call. My only regret is not signing up for their services years ago. Thank you all so much, you have a customer for life.

Equipment is working as expected. The costumer states that the AC is noisy at the beginning of every cooling cycle but I couldn’t hear anything abnormal at the time of maintenance. I advised the customer to call back if the issue escalates.

Customer states that he had about one inch of water in some parts of the basement, I completed an inspection of a water heater, fireplace and a furnace. The water heater and fireplace are operating as expected and both units are not displaying any water damage. The furnace is displaying water damage in the furnace cabinet and fan motor and some of the wiring also came in contact with abnormal weather conditions I highly recommend replacing the furnace to prevent premature failure.

Performed full air conditioner maintenance on 2023 Payne air conditioner and furnace system installed by Reliance. This is the client’s first visit as a Comfort Club member. System is operating well and in excellent condition.

Client inquired about duct cleaning. We recommended Kleen-Flo Duct Cleaning (spelled KLEEN), a reputable local company servicing the Niagara region.
Water Heater Discussion:
Current rental water heater is under contract with Reliance for another two years. Client is interested in upgrading to a tankless system. We advised them to contact Reliance to inquire about the current buyout cost. We can install a tankless system sooner if desired. Also noted that yearly maintenance is required on tankless water heaters, and a recirculation line to the furthest faucet may be needed depending on the home's layout.

Furnace is in good shape. Blower motor is very loud on start up, and seems to be struggling to get up to speed. Recommend replacement before winter season. Recommend duct cleaning as well.
