Service Call – Furnace Diagnosis Work Performed • Attended for intermittent furnace operation. • Completed diagnostic testing of furnace controls and overall operation. • Inspected wiring, safety controls, and ignition sequence. Findings • Furnace is approximately 32 years old (Nordyne). • Intermittent operation appears to be related to the furnace circuit board/control system. • Due to the extreme age of the equipment, parts are potentially obsolete and reliability is very poor. Recommendation • Do not recommend investing in repairs. • Any repair attempts on a furnace of this age carry no guarantee of outcome or longevity. • Full furnace replacement is strongly recommended. • Replacement estimates were provided to the client. Results • Furnace left in its current operating condition. • Client informed of risks associated with continued operation due to age and reliability.
They were both very knowledgeable and very courteous and took very careful care of my home while installing my new furnace. Would highly recommend tiur
The only thing I'm concerned about, is that in reading the Furnace Inspection Report, it mentions on there that water damage was found. That was the first I learned of this. If I had known before I read the report, I would've asked Dylan about what specifically was damaged, how bad is the damage and what I could do to fix it and prevent it from continuing or possibly having the damage even get worse.
Andrew Spratt was friendly, professional and polite and got the job done quickly. He left the area clean and tidy and entered the house and immediately removed his boots. Furnace up and running in less than an hour as promised. Job well done!
