Great, friendly service!
2022 keeprite furnace maint. System operating normally. Unsure if water on the floor is from dog or cat urine or from a misplaced condensate tube. I could not spot exactly where the water was coming from but I did ensure it wasn’t coming from the furnace condensate or condensation pump discharge line. No active leak while on site. Furnace is operating normally although the damage it seems from pets is concerning. Including the air conditioner is corroded from dog urine. Furnace is other wise operating normally, no concerns noted and it is performing well.
Joe did great work thanks Joe
Gibson furnace is having intermittent issues. Performed full diagnosis and determined issue is with circuit board. It is a two stage furnace and the second stage is not initiating. It was set for auto stage short. I determined it cycles only in first stage and will not go into second even if forced to second stage. Recommend replacing the board but because of the age of the furnace we cannot guarantee any other issues will not arise. Highly recommend replacing the furnace to receive peace of mind warranty. A sales team member will be in touch with options.
Fixed wiring from install humidifier up and running cx is happy.
Air Handler With Water Heating Coil – Noise From Flow Sensor Client has an air handler with a water heating coil connected to a tankless water heater. The tankless unit is a rental through Enercare. Client reported a noise coming from the flow sensor. Confirmed the noise and determined the flow sensor will likely need to be replaced. Since the tankless water heater is under Enercare’s rental . We will look into warranty coverage and provide next steps, or proceed with replacement if the client prefers us to handle the repair. System is still operating at this time. Client will monitor it for now, and we will follow up with options.
Furnace service call Found a blow 3 amp fuse upon arrival. Replaced and tested unit. Found problems with the heat exchanger while testing. High CO in flue and unit goes off on high limit after about 3 minutes of run time. Part requested and estimate requested.
Furnace Maintenance and Inspection
Furnace Replacement
Arrived on site, and inspected error codes in the thermostat. Did have quite a few active error codes stemming to a pressure switch. Upon system attempting to do calibration under our test, system was unable to do a proper calibration due to an issue with the pressure switch. Had pressure switch on the van, installed, tested unit unit is working safely and efficiently. Labour and parts are under warranty
1991 KeepRite Mid-Efficiency Furnace – No Ignition Attended for a no ignition issue on a 1991 KeepRite mid-efficiency furnace. Cleaned the sparker and burners, restoring proper ignition. The filter was extremely clogged and was replaced with the client-supplied filter. Completed combustion testing and temperature rise readings. The system is currently operating normally. Due to the age and condition of the furnace, replacement is highly recommended, but the client will monitor performance for now.
2009 Gibson Single-Stage Furnace – No Heat / Diagnostic Attended for a no heat call and found the furnace switch in the OFF position. Client mentioned they had turned it off but were unsure why. Performed a full diagnostic, including combustion analysis, temperature rise check, and safety inspection. No issues or faults were found and the furnace is operating normally. There was no identifiable reason the furnace had been turned off—likely a simple mix-up. System is running properly and should continue operating normally going forward.
